I’m Sean Kane, a Chartered & RPEQ Structural Engineer with experience in heavy industry, marine structures and mining. My experience has been mostly in structural Integrity, the design of modifications or repairs to structures and analysis of materials handling machines. I am also interested in computer programming, mostly in python.

This blog is my way of putting my thoughts about engineering down “on paper”. I hope they will be helpful for other engineers, and that the process of writing improves my thinking and writing skills.
